Encouraging Children To Be Happy & Successful

Free Breakfast Club

Breakfast has long been recognised as the most important meal of the day and evidence shows that a healthy breakfast is linked to better health, concentration and behaviour in school.

So together with Carmarthenshire County Council we now offer to all school pupils a healthy school breakfast club.

The breakfast club is FREE and breakfast is served between 8:00am and 8.30am. The children can choose from toast, cereal and fruit and they can have as much or as little as they like.

There is lots to entertain the children once they have finished their breakfast including various children’s DVD’s, games, books and even some indoor football practice. At 8.35am the children are taken to their classrooms and their day begins as normal.

Twts Tywi After School Club

Our ethos is to deliver high quality childcare for busy, working parents, every school day from when school finishes until 5:30pm.

We understand that at the end of a busy school day, your children might be tired or want to let off steam. Our after-school club therefore have a relaxed feel, giving children the choice to take part in a large selection of games and activities (indoors and outdoors), catch up with old friends or make new ones.

Children are offered a healthy snack every afternoon, made up of fresh fruit or vegetables and a carbohydrate (e.g. crumpets, sandwiches, wraps etc).

Please contact Twts Tywi if you would like to find out more about the services offered and to book a viewing:

Throughout the year, a range of free extra-curricular clubs are provided after school. These include Netball, Hockey, Football, Rugby, MineCraft, Dance & Arts & Craft. We also encourage pupils to take part in extra-curricular music lessons (fee applicable) which are provided during the school day and include piano and harp.
